WKD IS the drink that brings back lots of memories for many, and now you can get it as a pink gin flavour.
In even better news for gin fans, the bottles only cost £2.99 at convenience store chain Londis.
1 The tipple is so far only available at Londis
WKD hasn’t yet shared the details of the pre-mixed tipple with us, but we expect it to be similar to its popular blue flavour which contains 70ml and has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 4 per cent.
It should fit right in with its classic counterpart, which was super popular during the late 90’s as the cheap drink of the night.
And with the ongoing gin craze, there’s no wonder that shoppers are going wild about the launch after Londis first tweeted about it.
One shopper shared the news in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, and the post has so far had more than 2,200 comments.
One user: “I NEED this for next week.”
While another joked with her friend and said: “You’re sorted for the whole weekend on this!”
The new flavour is so far only available in participating Londis stores, but WKD’s owner – SHS Drinks – hasn’t yet told us how many Londis branches it’s at or whether it’ll roll out elsewhere too.
We’ll update this article as soon as we hear back.
Londis has more than 1,900 stores across the UK. You can find your nearest one by using its store locator tool.
The new drink is just 1p cheaper than the lowest price on the blue flavour offered by Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.
If you’re keen to pick up more than just one bottle, you’ll get the best deal at Tesco as you can currently get two for £5.

Last year, WKD launched a new MANGO flavoured version.
The drinks maker has also rolled out pre-mixed WKD cocktails, and they’re available in Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Tesco from £1.50.
Be careful to drink too much of it though, as a mum-of-two ditched her 12 bottles-a-day WKD diet after becoming so fat she was forced to get married in an elastic beach dress.
From WKD to 20/20 – how many of these nostalgic tipples can you remember?
