But one shopper on deals’ hunter Facebook group Extreme Couponing & Bargaining spotted that packs of 12 extra safe and mixed condoms are now the same price.
The shopper told The Sun they were in a Gravesend branch of Wilko on Saturday June 14.
And Wilko has confirmed they’re available in all stores nationwide while stocks last.
It has no plans to stock them online though, so you’ll have to head to your nearest branch if you want to bag a bargain. Use Wilko’s store locator tool to find your nearest.

They’re not new though – the retailer used to stock its own brand line of contraceptives but withdrew them from online a few years ago.
Wilko also stocks packs of 12 Durex condoms that cost £9 – £8.90 more than the retailer’s own-brand ones.
The next best price for a box of condoms we could find was £1 for a pack of 12 from Poundland.
After that, it’s Superdrug’s own-brand versions that cost £5.99 for 12.
Two years ago, Poundland launched its own range of budget sex toys for £1.
