Mama Medium star Jennie Marie has a string of celebrity fans (Picture: TLC)Mama Medium has a new famous face to add to her growing list of fans, after Kim Kardashian revealed how much she ‘loved’ her show.
The reality star took to Twitter to praise the psychic – who in turn has offered the mum-of-three a personal session.
Kim posted: ‘Watching Mama Medium. Who has seen it? I love her!’
But, before Kanye West’s wife and co pop up on an episode, just who is her new obsession, and can she really talk to the dead?

Jennie Marie – aka Mama Medium – claims she can communicate with the dead, as a medium, but also as a psychic and clairvoyant. She landed her very own reality show last year on TLC.
She currently lives with her husband, Mike, and her four sons – three of whom she claim also have similar gifts.
The TV star first became aware of her gifts when she was a child, and began to have premonitions in middle school. She revealed people in her class used to ask her advice on relationships, as she always knew when someone would split up.
She then went into the hairdressing industry in her mid-30s, and would offer insights to her clients – relaying messages from their loved ones – which is when she decided to give it all up and become a full-time medium.
What is her show about?
Mama Medium follows Jennie as she acts as a ‘bridge’ between families who want to communicate with their loved ones – who have either died or are unable to communicate.
In the first episode, she can be seen ‘being a voice’ for a woman who has become non-verbal, following complications during weight loss surgery.
Another emotional segment sees her telling the family of a man who has been non-verbal for eight years – after a blood vessel ruptured in his brain – that he knows he’s loved.
Is Mama Medium real and has there been backlash?
Jennie has been met with a lot of backlash since Mama Medium first aired, at the end of last year, with many questioning whether her talents were real. Jezebel published a blistering piece after the show emerged, branding her a ‘fraud’.
But she revealed she has found all the comments funny.
Mama Medium doesn’t care about her haters (Picture: TLC)During a candid chat with Good Housekeeping, she admitted: ‘First of all [when I see comments], I laugh. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. Second of all, it means they’re watching my show. So, I don’t care.’
But how does she deal with sceptics? ‘I still say just give me five minutes with them. I will hit something that will make them walk away and second guess.
‘Even if they won’t admit it to my face, I love challenges. I’m totally okay with that.’
How much does Mama Medium charge for a reading?
Despite having her very own TV show, Mama Medium’s readings start at a reasonable $25 (£18), and for that amount, she’ll answer a simple question that doesn’t require an in-depth reading.
She can do readings at her New York office, but is also accessible over the phone or on video chat.
Phone appointments can cost anywhere from $125 (£94) for 15 minutes, to $350 (£265) for an hour.
But if you’re desperate for a chat, you might have to wait a while as her website states she is all booked up for the foreseeable future.
