Who is Florence Pugh and where is she from?
Florence Pugh is a British actress from Oxford and was born on January 3, 1996.
The actress was born to a restaurateur father and a dancer mother, and spent part of her childhood in Andalusia, Spain.
Her brother is Game of Thrones star Toby Sebastian, who fans of the fantasy drama will recall as fateful Prince Trystane Martell of Dorne.
She gained a taste for performing from a young age and made her acting debut in the 2014 film The Falling.
Florence can play the guitar and the piano, and has written her own songs.

What TV shows has Florence Pugh starred in?
Florence made her television debut playing a character named Cat in a TV movie called Studio City in 2015.
She went on to star alongside Anna Friel in ITV’s hit crime drama Marcella, playing a character called Cara Thomas.
She will soon be seen playing the character Cordelia in an upcoming BBC and Amazon production of King Lear.
And beyond that, she will also play a character called Charlie in a BBC and AMC drama called The Little Drummer Girl alongside Oscar-nominated actor Michael Shannon.

What films has Florence Pugh starred in?
Florence made her big screen debut in the 2014 British drama The Falling alongside Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams.
She won praise for her follow up role-playing Katherine Lester in dark drama Lady Macbeth (not related to the Shakespeare character) for which she was nominated for a BAFTA.
She joined Liam Neeson in the 2018 action film The Commuter in 2018, and plays Elizabeth de Burgh in Netflix film Outlaw King (starring Chris Pine as Robert the Bruce).

When did Florence Pugh play Cordelia in the BBC/Amazon version of King Lear?
Florence played Cordelia in Notes on a Scandal director Richard Eyre’s upcoming production of King Lear.
The television adaptation of the Shakespeare classic saw Anthony Hopkins play the titular king and Emma Thompson play the role of Goneril.
The production was made for the BBC and aired ion 28th May 2018.
The film also sees Christopher Eccleston, Andrew Scott and Jim Broadbent among the cast, and for those unfamiliar with the Shakespearian tragedy – spoiler alert! – Cordelia dies (along with almost everyone else).
