Who is Eva Green?
Eva Green is a French actress who has starred in Casino Royale and Penny Dreadful.
She was born in Paris in 1980, and spent time growing up in London and Ireland as well as France.
She was educated at the English-speaking American University of Paris, and decided to become an actor at 14.
She got her big break in 2006 after being cast in Casino Royale at the last minute – after previously having turned down the role.

Who did she play in James Bond’s Casino Royale?
Eva Green plays Vesper Lynd, a foreign liaison agent from the government’s Financial Action Task Force.
Her job is to make sure that James Bond (played by Daniel Craig) takes care of the treasury’s money during the poker tournament.
She commits suicide at the end of the film by deliberately drowning herself as Bond tries to rescue her from a sunk elevator.
