Richard Gere’s first TV role in almost 30 years will be MotherFatherSon on BBC Two (Picture: BBC)For the first time in nearly 30 years, Richard Gere is coming to the small screen in BBC drama MotherFatherSon.
The Pretty Woman star is acting alongside a top notch cast in this TV show, which, along with the trailer, is more than enough to pique our interest.
Gere is starring as Max, a media mogul who finds himself dealing with problems in his family as his empire controls the political landscape.
In Cannes last year, Gere explained: ‘We’re all trying to tell stories that relate to this crazy moment on our planet, and it’s probably impossible to go directly at it because you can’t compete with how crazy someone like [Donald] Trump is, and many of these right-wing nationalist tribalists on the planet.’
He added: ‘It’s set in the context of really exploring our world in terms of politics, and media, and power in general.’
If you want to know when you can catch the show and who else will be appearing alongside Richard, here is everything that you need to know.
