Tiny baby Psalm (Picture: Splash – Kim Kardashian)Kim and Kanye welcomed their brand new baby on 9 May, and have recently announced their son’s name – Psalm.
Baby Psalm is the fourth child of the couple’s, and was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces by a surrogate.
The pair are known for their unique names, with their three older children called North, Saint, and Chicago West.
Flurries of bets also came in on which moniker they’d decide on, with South, East, Yeezy, and Diamond leading the pack before the announcement.
Psalm has had mixed responses on social media, as well as a whole host of people wondering how to pronounce the word.

What does Psalm mean?
A psalm is a song or hymn used in Christian or Jewish worship, and it also refers to the Book of Psalms in the Bible.
All of the Kardashian-West children have meaningful names, with North representing the ‘highest point’ in the relationship, and Chicago as a nod to Kanye’s home town.
Saint was named for the ‘blessing’ Kim received for getting through her difficult pregnancy, and Psalm certainly follows the same spiritual theme.
It’s no secret that Kimye are proudly religious, with Kanye holding Sunday services at Coachella and beyond.
Many of his songs and stunts – from Jesus Walks to his Yeezus album to his G.O.O.D. Friday music drops – have a religious element, and he grew up in a Christian household.
You have to see and feel how happy I am and how strong my family is. We are even stronger because of this through the love and grace of god

When North was born in 2014, the family travelled to Jerusalem to have her baptised, and ‘Ye later tweeted in 2018 about his rekindled love of God.
According to some reports, he’s even thinking about starting his own church because he ‘wants his kids to be raised in faith, and the best way for him to do that is to live out his faith’.
The P in the word is silent, so you say it like ‘saam’.
That said, the Kardashian-Wests have a flair for the unique, so there’s every chance they’ll say it in a slightly different way instead.
