TOP TIPPLES Which? names best summer wines including £10 or less bottles from Morrisons and Co-op



Tasting nine white wines and eight sparkling roses, priced between £6 and £10, the Which? panel put Morrison’s Grüner Veltiner 2017 at a close second to Aldi, describing it as a, ‘subtle white wine that’s easy to drink.
The UK based supermarket beat out Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s to be named as one of the best wines to share with friends this summer.

Co-op also came out on top after scoring 78 per cent on the test for its Irresistible Sparkling Rose, £8.
The wine taste test featured eight sparkling rose wines priced between £8 and £14, with Marks and Spencer’s Graham Beck The Rhona Brut Rosé, £10, coming a close second to its irresistible competition.
Harry Rose, Editor of Which? Magazine, said: ‘Those looking for the perfect wine to sip in the sun will be delighted to find out they can get a Best Buy bottle on a budget, with some of the most impressive wines we tested also being the cheapest.
