GOING online is fine – but I prefer to hit the high street whenever I can, because that’s where you will find all the best deals.
This week I went to Bristol to see what I could find and came back with some treats that the little ones will love . . .
We hit the high strein Bristol to bring you deals both you and your children will love
Child’s play: Need to keep kids entertained this weekend? Head to The Works. It has loads of great items including activity packs and games that they’ll love, all at discounted prices. A Make Your Own Lip Balm kit is just £3, down from £7.SAVE: £4
Potter gold: Top merchandise is really starting to come down in price. When I heard Poundland had started stocking Disney and Harry Potter gear, I checked it out and was super-impressed to find a Potter Undesirable No1 wall print for a fiver. That’s compared to the exact same print at wayfair.co.uk for £28.99!SAVE: £23.99
Paw-fect pals: Bargain Buys is a discount store across the South West and it has a great range of practical, affordable homeware. But even I was impressed to discover a collection of Paw Patrol lunchboxes starting at 89p! A similar version at Deichmann comes with a bottle too, but it’s still £5.99.SAVE: £5.10
Game on: It feels like the video game Fortnite has taken over our lives — and our high street. You might not realise that clothes shop Peacocks now stocks the official Fortnite bedding and T-shirts from £11.However, it also has very similar own-brand T-shirts for just £3.50 — that’s a win in my eyes!SAVE: £7.50
