A BABY boy was hospitalised after being hit by a car as he crossed the road in Hull.
It’s understood the 10-month-old boy was crossing the road with his mum when he was hit yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services closed off Wawne Road in both directions following the accident at the junction with Barnstaple Road.
The road was closed between Biggin Avenue and Noddle Hill Way from 4pm to 5.42pm.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “We were called to a collision involving a pedestrian and a car, believed to be a young child.
“The child has been taken to hospital with injuries that are thought to be minor at this stage.”

Cops said the boy’s mum was not hurt.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses who saw the collision to come forward by calling 101.
