Rajasthan won the inaugural IPL in 2008 but have reached the play-offs just twice since. They finished fourth last year, suffering a semi-final defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders.
Australia legend Warne is Rajasthan’s Brand Ambassador this year, having captained the franchise to their solitary IPL title more than a decade ago.
And the former leg-spinner says the Royals can come out on top at IPL 2019, with anything less than a play-off appearance a ‘disappointment’.

‘It’s the strongest Rajasthan squad we’ve put together. Anything less than the play-offs is a disappointment.
‘You need a little bit luck to win the IPL. You need big star players need to perform. For me, Sanju Samson will be the MVP.’
Samson, 24, scored over 400 runs in 15 matches at last year’s IPL as he helped Rajasthan reach the play-offs.
