EVEN we didn’t think Remainer MPs would stoop this low. To stop Brexit they are now ready to inflict hardship and fear on the poorest and most vulnerable.
Shame on Tory saboteur Dominic Grieve and Labour co-plotter Margaret Beckett. Shame on Labour if it backs them, and on any Tories who join them.
3 Tory Remainer Dominic Grieve rejects the only Brexit deal on offer to the EUCredit: PRU
MPs have repeatedly promised to honour Brexit. Yet they reject the only deal on offer and the EU refuses to improve it. No Deal isn’t The Sun’s favoured option, but it IS the logical and inevitable consequence of their game-playing.
Grieve hopes instead to stop Brexit . . . by blackmailing his own Government and, sickeningly, holding a gun to the heads of the poor both here and abroad.
But No Deal would still be the default. And funding would have to be immediately restored. Grieve is mad if he thinks anyone but him and his Remainer friends will be blamed for targeting benefit claimants, OAPs and schools.
Their conceit is repugnant. Even Theresa May, normally one to mince her words, calls them “grossly irresponsible”.
This Cabinet lacks resolve, but our new one must unite to face down the wreckers. Boris Johnson is right to say there would be no place in his for those unwilling to back No Deal as a last resort.
If it means exile for Amber Rudd and her allies, so be it. Voters have had enough of MPs and ministers issuing threats if they don’t get their way.Brexit MUST happen. Our democracy hinges on it. And the chance of No Deal is not as remote as Boris makes out.
Last straw, PM
WE are sick of Theresa May trying to inflict damaging policies on her successor to establish a “legacy” in her last days.
Her new milkshake tax must be thrown out. There is no credible case for it.
The Government says the fizzy drinks levy “succeeded” because makers cut sugar in their recipes. Rubbish. The sole point was to make people less fat, and it hasn’t. If it’s failed on that, it’s failed.

Spreading this folly to milkshakes compounds the stupidity.
Voters will flock to a new Tory PM who champions consumer choice and puts nanny state zealots back in their box.
It’s a sweet prospect.

Just the jobs
ONLY leftie class warriors could fail to admire a graduate who sets up a viable company and creates jobs.
Entrepreneurs are our economy’s lifeblood, providing work for millions and putting food on families’ tables.
3 Jeremy Hunt wants to wipe student debtCredit: AP:Associated Press
So we welcome Jeremy Hunt’s pledge to wipe out their student debt if they launch a start-up hiring more than ten people for five years.
Too few graduates do so. This is a terrific incentive, one of many decent ideas to emerge from this leadership race.
There may be hope yet for the Tories.
Jeremy Hunt promises to win young people back to the Tory Party and that he would never provoke a general election before delivering Brexit at leadership hustings
