REAL MADRID are to meet with Mauro Icardi over a stunning switch to Real Madrid, according to reports.
Respected Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri claims the Argentina striker, 26, is on his way to the Spanish capital for talks over a transfer.

But it is also said that Real want to include Chelsea loanee Mateo Kovacic as part of the deal with Inter – meaning he would go to Italy.
Croatia star Kovacic is set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of this campaign when his season-long loan deal from the Bernabeu comes to an end.
If Chelsea’s two-window transfer ban for alleged breaches in relation to the transfer of Under-18s is upheld then they will not be able to sign him anyway.
And it appears that Real do not want him as part of Zinedine Zidane’s second reign either.
According to Palmeri, if Icardi moves to the Bernabeu then Kovacic will replace him at Inter.
Striker Icardi’s status at the Serie A side has been in question for months, with one report claiming Real chose not to pursue him because of his wife and agent Wanda Nara.

Icardi was stripped of the club captaincy in February – and at the time that was seen as a boost to Chelsea’s hopes of landing him.
However, Nara has denied her antics have had anything to do with Real’s alleged cooling of interest.
And that appears to have been the case, with Bernabeu bosses apparent willingness to meet Icardi to discuss a deal.
