Rak-Su have confirmed they won’t be making an appearance in the hotly-anticipated X Factor: All Stars series.
The band, which is made up of Ashley Fongho, Jamaal Shurland, Mysels Stephenson and Mustafa Rahimtulla, won the 14th series of the ITV contest in 2017 and reckon returning to the stage later this year would be too soon.
Speaking to Christine Lampard on Lorraine, Ashley explained: ‘It’s a bit early for us I think.
‘I think there’s some people who had amazing moments and then things have gone a bit quiet, so I guess it would be great for them to reinvigorate things.’

Rak-Su also ruled out that they have beef with Simon Cowell, with Myles admitting: ‘It’s all love when we see him. We have nothing but good words to say about him.
‘He got us on the platform and he helped push us to where we are trying to get to and with what we’re doing now.’
The singer added that all the headlines referring to any bad blood is ‘just politics between labels.’

Like Rak-Su, a lot of past X Factor talent have already ruled out returning for Simon’s All Stars, which will see legends battle it out for the title.
JLS confirmed that they wouldn’t be reuniting for the series, saying that they’ll watch the series instead, while James Arthur has said he’s ‘too busy’ to participate.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 8.30am on ITV.
