R Kelly yells ‘I’m fighting for my f***ing life’ as he denies sex abuse claims

R KELLY broke down in tears and yelled “I’m fighting for my f***ing life” as he dismissed sex abuse claims as “rumours”.
The R&B singer, 52, pleaded with viewers to believe he’s innocent as he awaits trial for charges that he sexually abused four women, including three underage girls.

In his first interview since he was arrested, Kelly started sobbing as he was quizzed about claims that he held young women captive.
“I don’t need to – why would I? That’s stupid,” he told Gayle King in a sit-down for CBS.
“How stupid would that be for R Kelly, with all I’ve been through in my past, to hold somebody.
“Use your common sense.”
He became more agitated and banged on his chest as he exploded: “Stop it, quit playing. I didn’t do this stuff. This is not me. I’m fighting for my f***ing life.”
CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED SEX ABUSE
Kelly, who has been trailed for decades by allegations that he violated underage girls and held some women as slaves, was charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse last month.
Three of the four victims in the case were between the ages of 13 and 17 when the alleged abuse took place.
Aggravated criminal sexual abuse is a class two felony with a sentencing range of three to seven years in prison per count.
That means Kelly, if convicted, could face a maximum of up to 70 years.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Kelly was released from jail on bail on February 25 as he waits for his trial.
The singer spent three days behind bars amid reports he was struggling to cough up the $100,000 (£77,000) necessary to bail him out.

In a promotional clip for the CBS interview, Gayle King asks the singer, “Do you still sit here and say that you have never been with underage girls?”
R Kelly responds: “I’ll sit here and say this, I had two cases back then that I said at the beginning of the interview that I would not talk about because of my ongoing case now.
“But, I will tell you this: people are going back to my past and they’re trying to add all of this stuff now to that, to make all of the stuff that’s going on now feel real to people.”
