POUNDLAND has launched a DARK chocolate version of its copycat Toblerone bar, Twin Peaks, for the first time.
But the discounter has warned that the £1 honey and almond nougat bar is not available for long.

The 180g treat will only be available from Poundland stores while stocks last, so you might want to hurry if you’re keen on trying the darker version.
But the discount retailer added that if it’s popular enough, it could restock the bar in the future.
The new treat comes six months after the discount retailer re-launched its milk chocolate Twin Peaks bar with a new design following a legal battle with Toblerone’s owner, Mondelez.
Poundland was ordered to change the shape of its knock-off after it first launched in 2017 because it was described as too similar to the iconic Swiss treat.
Toblerone Toblerone also has a dark chocolate version of its famous bar, which Poundland is cheekily copying
Poundland The Twin Peaks chocolate bar has sloped hills instead of triangular peaks like Toblerone after a legal battle
Instead of triangular peaks, Poundland’s copycat version now has two rows of sloped chocolate “hills” in a cheeky twist on Toblerone’s famous chocolate bar.
They’re supposedly inspired by the differing heights of Shropshire’s Wrekin and Ercall hills.
There’s only been milk and white chocolate Twin Peaks bars so far, but now there’s an option for dark chocolate fans – and it’s a direct rival to Toblerone’s dark chocolate treat.
But Toblerone’s version isn’t currently on sale at major supermarkets because it’s out of season – and that could mean shoppers go wild for Poundland’s budget bar.
The only way you can get hold of Toblerone Dark Chocolate is to buy it from Cadbury Gifts Direct, which is selling 360g bars for £5.49.
That’s £3.49 more expensive than buying two Poundland Twin Peaks dark chocolate bars at 180g each.
A Poundland spokesman said it launched the dark chocolate version to suit “everyone’s taste buds”.
