Peter Dinklage shares cast photo of the 'northern squad'

Peter Dinklage shared the ultimate squad goals photo of the Game Of Thrones gang on Tuesday (Instagram/PeterDinklage)The Game Of Thrones stars just posed for a cast picture so good it could go on a T-shirt.
Peter Dinklage shared a behind the scenes shot of the ‘northern squad’ on Tuesday night, following the opening to Season 8.
All of the familiar faces, like Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, were there in costume yet off-duty and smiling, while Peter himself just about peeped into shot.
Fortunately, the Instagram seemed to be spoiler-free but maybe we’ll discover a few subtle Easter Eggs once the series comes to an end next month.

Look. at. that. face. (Instagram/PeterDinklage)Like the fact that Brienne of Tarth was sitting on Tormund Giantsbane’s lap.
Could this mean a happy end to Tormund’s story of unrequited love for warrior Brienne?
After episode one aired this week, we couldn’t help but feel like there was a giant Brienne-shaped hole in the Season 8 opener.
She appeared briefly in the Great Hall in Winterfell but on very briefly.
Last we saw Brienne of Tarth (played by Gwendoline Christie) she was in Winterfell with Podric Payne (Daniel Portman) sparring with Arya Stark (Maisie Williams).
The episode featured a number of reunions but alas, we didn’t get one from Brienne and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) or indeed from her and Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju).
Meanwhile, Peter recently said he was going to find it ‘very hard’ to say goodbye to playing Tyrion Lannister.

Unlike a lot of his counterparts, he says he predicted the fate of his character long before reading the script.
He said: ‘I had all these ideas in my head and a version of one of them is how it ends up [for Tyrion]. David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] have a brilliant version of what I had.
‘If I use any adjectives it will give it away, but I love how it ended up. And how it ends up for everybody. They had a beautiful gentle touch with some and a hard touch with others.’
