The 20-year-old has started every round of the Cup so far and conceded just once during five matches.
The Kosovo international has served as Ederson’s understudy this term after Claudio Bravo suffered a long-term Achilles injury and was City’s hero in a penalty shootout win against Leicester City in the quarter-finals.
Bravo was City’s League Cup goalkeeper last term en route to the final and Guardiola stuck with the Chilean for a 3-0 win against Arsenal, despite calls for Ederson to be reinstated.

Guardiola will inform his side of his team selection on Sunday but the Spaniard has kept Muric sweating on his place by insisting he will make a late call.
‘We will see – I have to think about it,’ Guardiola said on Friday.
‘He’s been an important player for us to be where we are. Leicester with the penalties, he was incredible.
‘We trust him, that’s why he is second keeper today. We didn’t look to buy anybody in the winter market.’

City are sweating on John Stones’ fitness for the clash at Wembley.
The defender missed the side’s 3-2 win away at Schalke in midweek and remained in the north-west to recover from a groin injury.
Gabriel Jesus also missed the defeat with a hamstring problem and Guardiola is hopeful that the pair could return to feature in his matchday squad.
‘Tomorrow (Saturday) we will see, the info I have is they are getting better but right now I cannot say if they will be ready for Sunday,’ said Guardiola.
