The 18-year-old made a huge career decision in the summer of 2017 as he left City to join Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho has been able to make a significant impact in the Bundesliga with eight goals and 10 assists this season.
And his impressive performances have alerted Manchester United, who are ready to make a move in the upcoming transfer window.
Guardiola has praised Sancho’s ‘incredible’ displays for Dortmund but says the winger has missed the chance to find out if he could have made the grade at City.

‘He decided to go there. So, it’s perfect.
‘It’s going well and congratulations on what he is doing.
‘He is doing an incredible performance. He did it incredibly well this season.
‘What would have happened this season [at City]? I don’t know.
