OSCARS viewers have been left outraged after realising that Austin Powers star Verne Troyer had been snubbed from the In Memoriam tribute.
Fans have slammed the Academy for failing to include the popular actor, who died last April at the age of 49.

The awards, which aired on Sunday night, did not acknowledge Verne in their annual tribute to industry people who had passed away in the last 12 months, which airs every year.
Fans were further stunned that Verne’s famous co-star, Mike Myers, presented an award at the show – yet the actor had still been forgotten.
Taking to Twitter, one outraged viewer wrote: “Did they just f***ing snub Verne Troyer?!”
Another added: “Mike Myers in the house and you still forget Verne Troyer? Academy, you cold b*******.

Verne was born with a form of dwarfism and shot to fame as Mini-Me in the Austin Powers’ franchise.
He also won over British audiences when he took part in the 2009 series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Verne spent the final three weeks of his life in an LA hospital for alcohol intoxication, with a coroner later ruling that his death was the result of suicide.

It wasn’t just Verne who was seemingly snubbed by the Academy at the weekened, with viewers also pointing out that stars such as Sandra Locke, Carol Channing, Dick Miller, and John Mahoney had also been omitted from the memoriam.
The ceremony proved controversial this year as it opted to not have a host for the first time in 30 years.
Fans blasted the show as “boring” while it aired, with producers choosing not to replace Kevin Hart when he dropped out of presenting duties after historic homophobic tweets resurfaced online.
