Omari’s felt the wrath of the BeyHive (Picture: FilmMagic)Omari Hardwick has caused a stir with Beyonce fans after he kissed the singer twice on the cheek at the NAACP Image Awards last night.
The TV actor and his Power co-star Naturi Naughton were seen politely greeting Beyonce and Jay Z as the music power couple sat front row at the Los Angeles awards on Saturday evening.
After having a friendly conversation with Jay Z and posing for a photo together, Omari headed over to Beyonce, 37, who was seen mouthing ‘thank you’ with a smile as he hugged and kissed her on the cheek and said something in her ear.
To be fair, he was likely congratulating Bey on her win for entertainer of the year.
But while pulling away, Omari went in for a second kiss that appeared to be accidentally closer to the singer’s mouth.
All pretty innocent right?

Well, some of Beyonce’s fans believe the second kiss was ‘unnecessary’ and claim it made the singer appear to be visibly ‘uncomfortable’.
One Twitter user suggested: ‘Omari was a little EXTRA with that kiss on the cheek to Beyoncé.’
However for all the criticism, there were many others who didn’t see anything sinister with the double kiss.

Another weighed in: ‘I don’t think Omari meant anything by the extra kiss!!! I think it was nervous energy.’
Omari, 45, is known to have a good friendship with Beyonce and Jay Z and starred in the music video for the rapper’s 2017 music video for Family Feud.
