The Red Devils signed off a discouraging 18/19 campaign with a poor 2-0 defeat against Cardiff City at Old Trafford and Solskjaer’s squad gave a lap of honour to a half-empty crowd afterwards.
Traditionally, the United squad have been given permission to start their summer holidays immediately after the final game of the season.
However, Solskjaer doesn’t want the season to end without a frank discussion on what needs to be done next term to ensure the club are competing again.
The Norwegian has summoned the squad to the club’s training ground at 10am on Monday and plans to speak to them initially as a group.
