Kyrgios lashed out at the umpire (Picture: Getty Images)Nick Kyrgios lost his cool in remarkable fashion after being on the losing end in doubles, branding the chair umpire a ‘f***ing disgrace’ in an explitive-ridden outburst.
The Aussie and American partner Taylor Fritz went down 7-6 (7-4) 6-7 (3-7) 10-8 to Guido Pella and Joao Sousa and Kyrgios clearly took issue with the umpire’s performance.
‘What is wrong with you? You’re a disgrace. You’re a f***ing disgrace,’ Kyrgios raged.
The 23-year-old then smashed his racquet onto the Miami Open hard courts before turning to the crowd to continue venting his frustration.
He quizzed: ‘Do you think that’s alright, yes or no?

‘Just give me the answer. He’s a disgrace.
‘I come out and give 100% and I have to deal with idiots like him. Does he get fined for his mistakes? It’s rubbish, man.’
The umpire may not get punished but Kyrgios can expect a hefy fine for his latest outburst.
However, he has not been alone in his criticism of match officials during the inaugural tournament at the Hard Rock Stadium.
British No. 3 Dan Evans had called an umpire a ‘complete s***show’ after his defeat in qualifying and the USA’s Reilly Opelka described match officials as ‘horrible’.
While his involvement in the doubles ended badly, the world No. 33 remains involved in the singles.
After beating Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik, the Australian will now take on Serbia’s Dusan Lajovic.
