Four of the eight sides are from these shores, with Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur all in the hat for Friday’s draw.
Ajax, Porto, Barcelona and Juventus are the teams standing in the way of an English triumph but former Liverpool and Manchester United attacker Owen thinks one of the Premier League sides will prevail.
And he’s tipping domestic title contenders Manchester City and Liverpool as the sides to beat.
