Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to meet King Mohammed VI of Morocco whose wife, 40, has been 'MISSING' for two years

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry spent the day discussing female empowerment in Morocco – a country whose princess mysteriously ‘vanished’.
Despite the Moroccan media reportedly ignoring King Mohammed VI’s wife’s disappearance, there were questions over whether or not the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would ask after her.

It has been two years since Princess Lalla Salma was seen in public, her whereabouts have become the subject of much speculation over the years.
The 40-year-old princess met King Mohammed, 55, at a party in 1999 and married several years later, although they are widely rumoured to have divorced this has never been officially confirmed.
Meghan and Harry have already met the couple’s son Crown Prince Moulay Hussan, 15, who has been called one of richest teenagers in the world.
Like Meghan and Harry, the princess is a prominent supporter of women’s rights. She also attended Kate Middleton and Prince William’s wedding in 2011.
I guess that if the news is correct about the divorce, they will give her a nice big house and all the money she needs so that she won’t say anything about it. But I think it is rather sad if it is true.Netty Leistra, a royal journalist
There are rumours that she is living in exile in the U.S, but there has also been a suggestion that she is in the Greek Island Kea with her daughter.
Netty Leistra, a royal journalist, told Royal Central : “I think Salma had a very hard job trying to be the first visible wife of a Moroccan king. There is quite an age gap too.
“Salma did some good things and of course, gave birth to two children. I always thought she did rather well.

He shook hands with the pair at the entrance to their royal villa in the grounds of King Mohammed’s palace after they stepped off the plane at Casablanca airport onto a red carpet last night.
LIVING IN EXILE
It is believed to be the first time that the British royal family have met the future monarch of Morocco.
So far the couple’s trip is focusing on is women’s empowerment, social entrepreneurship and girls’ education.
They have visited a boarding school run by Education For All, an organisation for girls aged between 12 and 18 in some of the poorest and remote parts of the country.
Meghan took part in a Henna ceremony and the couple watched a secondary school football match.
They will also visit a market run by social entrepreneurs and meet young people.
Security fears had been sparked for the royal visit after riots erupted in Rabat earlier this week during a march by teachers demanding more pay.

Royal protection officers are said to be worried about the situation and have banned the royal couple from walkabouts.
The tour comes days after Meghan enjoyed a baby shower in New York with pals including Serena Williams.
Meghan’s trip to the Big Apple was criticised in some quarters after the lavish visit was said to have cost £330,000.
Princess Diana’s former private secretary Patrick Jephson described the private visit as “pretty unedifying”.
