MCDONALD’S fans can get their hands on a free iced latte this week if they use the fast-food chain’s app.
The restaurant chain launched ice lattes for the first time in the UK in May – just in time for the long, hot summer, although they’ll be available all year around.

They normally cost £1.99 so it’s a decent saving to get your hands on one for free.
The offer is only from today until 11.59pm on June 9 though so you need to go quick if you fancy one.
To pick up the deal, you just need to download or open your My McDonald’s app, which is available for free on Android and Apple.
One you’re in store, you just need to find the promotion on the app homepage, select “Redeem Now!”, login or sign-up, and then show the offer to staff at the counter.
Both existing and new users to the app can get the deal and there’s no minimum spend to get the freebie so you don’t need to buy anything else in store.
You’re only allowed one free latte per customer and the offer is only available at participating restaurants.
It’s also subject to availability and you do need to be 16 or over to qualify – so it’s best not to make a special trip just in case.
If you’re worried about your weight, the iced latte only contains 94 calories – an adult man should have around 2,500 calories a day while it’s 2,000 for a woman, according to NHS guidelines.
But sadly you can’t use the offer on McDonald’s new Millionaire’s Frappe.

But McDonald’s isn’t the only retailer getting in on the cold lattes – Costa’s summer menu is back and it includes iced coffee that tastes of strawberries.
