LOYAL Maccies fans are in luck because the fast food chain is bringing back its Aero and mint Aero McFlurry after four long years, The Sun can reveal.
They’ll be available in McDonald’s restaurants from next Monday – May 1 – where you’ll be able to pick up a regular size for £1.39 or a mini version for 99p.
McDonald’s Fancy ice cream with Aero chocolates?
The ice cream treats are topped with chocolate pieces and a chocolate or peppermint sauce depending on which one you go for.
The flavours were last available at the fast food chain in 2015, and many users were disappointed when they disappeared.
One user wrote on Twitter shortly afterwards: “Went to get a McFlurry last night and was vocally devastated that they don’t do the mint Aero ones anymore.”
While another one said last year: “McDonald’s needs to stop playing and bring out a mint Aero McFlurry asap.”
McDonald’s The flavours haven’t been available at McDonald’s in four years
Sadly they’re not becoming a permanent addition to its range now either as they’re only available until June 25.
For those watching their waistline, a regular Aero McFlurry contains 349 calories and 46g of sugar – the equivalent of roughly 11 teaspoons.
Meanwhile, a mini contains 175 calories and 23g of sugar.
Mint Aero is slightly unhealthier by containing 359 calories in a regular size although it has less sugar at 45g, and 180 calories and 22g sugar in a mini version.
According to the NHS, the recommended daily calorie and sugar intake for an adult is 2,000 calories and 90g of sugar.
