Although Spurs are keen to hang onto Eriksen, they have been unable to tie the 27-year-old to a new contract with his existing deal set to expire in 2020.
Eriksen would be free to discuss a pre-contract agreement with European clubs next January and rather than risk losing the Denmark international on a free, Spurs may decide to sell him this summer.
Real Madrid are the front-runners in the race to sign Eriksen and reports in Spain suggest that Spurs could ask for Ceballos to be included in any deal involving the former Ajax man.

Ceballos has struggled to establish himself as a regular at the Bernabeu during his two seasons with the club and has hardly been used since Zinedine Zidane was re-appointed in March.
Of the 11 games that Zidane has taken charge of since his return, Ceballos has featured in just three and the midfielder is reportedly keen to move on in the summer to play more regularly.

According to AS, any deal will have to be completed either before or after the U21 European Championship gets underway on June 16 with Ceballos set to play a key role for Spain.
