MARCOS ALONSO has been forced to turn off comments on his Instagram page after being subjected to vile abuse.
The Chelsea left-back, 28, has struggled for form in recent weeks leading to sick trolls targeting him online.

He has now taken the step to block any responses from his 1.3million followers on the social media platform.
Alonso is a prominent Instagram user with 508 posts but the most recent eight have all been uploaded with comments disabled.
As well as the endless “f*** off” and “you’re s***” comments, dozens of Instagram users have told Alonso: “Get out of Chelsea.”
One person said: “F*** u alonso u are the cause of all chelsea problems. I hope u get injured for the rest of the season.”

Another added: “Worst footballer I’ve ever seen, stinking attitude @marcosalonso28.”
The Spaniard started this season in fine form, helping himself to an assist in the first four Premier League games – plus a goal against Arsenal.
But since then, he has managed just one assist in the 25 games since for the Blues across all competitions.
Despite playing a full-strength team in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, manager Maurizio Sarri picked Emerson to play at left-back instead.

Worse still, Alonso did not even make the bench as his side lost on penalties to Manchester City.
Tottenham travel to Stamford Bridge tonight for a crunch clash but Alonso may be forced to watch from the sidelines again after Emerson’s impressive performances against Malmo and City in the last week.
