Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been left ‘frustrated’ after Manchester United’s rejected bid (Picture: Getty)Aaron Wan-Bissaka has reportedly informed Crystal Palace that he wants to join Manchester United this summer.
Palace have turned down United’s opening offer of around £40million for Wan-Bissaka, 21, and the Red Devils are already planning their next bid which will be in the region on £50m.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is pleading with United to move closer to Palace’s £60m asking price as he’s confident the young right-back has the ability to take over as Antonio Valencia’s replacement for the next decade.
Diogo Dalot, who completed a £19m move from Porto to United last summer, is yet to win Solskjaer’s trust, hence the continued and intense interest in Wan-Bissaka.
According to The Sun, Wan-Bissaka has been left ‘frustrated’ by United’s rejected bid and has told Palace that he’s desperate to secure a ‘dream’ move to Old Trafford.
However, the England Under-21 international is yet to issue a formal transfer request at Selhurst Park.
While the Eagles are unlikely to budge on their £60m valuation for Wan-Bissaka, Roy Hodgson is scouring the market for possible replacements in the event of a deal being agreed with United.
Norwich’s Max Aarons, who is also being monitored by Tottenham, RB Leipzig and – interestingly – United is firmly on Palace’s radar.

‘He’s got the world at his feet. But my only concern is that we had Wilfried Zaha leave at a young age and he didn’t cope,’ Salako told Love Sport Drive.
‘He wasn’t mature enough and didn’t really settle in at Man United. He ended up coming back and has had the best spell of his career since he came back.
‘He’s obviously another one linked with moving away but I’m just a bit concerned with Aaron.
‘It’s been his first full season and it’s been absolutely magnificent.
‘He couldn’t have been lying in bed and dreamed of a better debut season. He probably needs more games.
‘It’s too early for Aaron. He needs another season.
‘I’m not surprised United have come in because they could probably get him cheaper and they think they need to do something now.’
