Cancelo has made 32 appearances in all competitions this season.
But he has been unable to nail down a regular place in Max Allegri’s starting XI, with Mattia De Sciglio often preferred in the bigger games.
United are said to have scouted Cancelo during Juventus’ win at Napoli in March.
And the Portugal international is apparently open to joining United as a replacement for Antonio Valencia.
The Red Devils are now ready to offer £42m in cash for Cancelo’s coveted signature.
While flop Darmian will also be sacrificed to sweeten the deal in Juve’s favour.
Cancelo isn’t the only Bianconeri player in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s sights, with Paulo Dybala also a transfer target.
The striker has netted just five times in Serie A this season.
