Man Utd news: United prepared to meet David de Gea's contract demands

De Gea looks set to stay at United (Picture: Getty)Manchester United are now prepared to meet the wage demands of David de Gea’s, reports say.
De Gea is refusing to budge on his request to be paid on par with Alexis Sanchez, who joined United from Arsenal on a massive wage.
The goalkeeper wants a contract worth over £350,000-a-week, but United initially baulked at De Gea’s demands and were prepared to wait until next season to resolve the issue.
Talks ground to a halt as a result as De Gea rejected United’s counter offers, with his current deal set to expire next summer.

(Picture: Getty)Real Madrid have been watching the contract stand-off closely as Zinedine Zidane aims to reignite their interest in De Gea.
And amid concern Real or Paris Saint-Germain might pounce, the Independent claim United have decided to give De Gea what he wants.
United have been alarmed by PSG’s approach for Ander Herrera, who is in a similar contract situation as De Gea.
