Man, 23, stabbed to death as London endures more bloodshed

A manhunt has been launched after a 23-year-old man was stabbed to death in south London.
Officers were scrambled to Minet Road in Lambeth at around 6.45pm this evening.
The emergency services battled to save the man’s life but he was pronounced dead at the scene. He is yet to be identified.

It is believed the killing is the 10th so far in the capital this year alone.
A Met Polcie spokesperson said:  ‘Police were called at approximately 18:45hrs on Thursday, 21 February to reports of a man stabbed on Minet Road, SW9.
‘Officers attended and provided the victim with first aid. The London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended.
‘The man, believed to be aged 23 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene at 19:27hrs.

‘The Homicide and Major Crime Command has been informed.
‘There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
‘Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference 6141/21Feb.’
