A MAN has been knifed to death outside Ilford train station in the third stabbing in just six hours in London.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was killed at around 8.48pm in the latest bloodshed to hit the capital.
He was declared dead at the scene and there have been no arrests, police confirmed.
The victim is now the sixth person killed in London in just nine days after a man was stabbed to death in Bethnal Green yesterday.
There have so far been 16 murder probes launched in the capital this year after 2018’s bloodshed caused the highest London murder rate for a decade.
Tonight’s bloodbath also saw a schoolboy stabbed in the stomach outside South Ruislip station at around 4.30pm.
He was seen by horrified witnesses “laying face down” on the ground in his school uniform but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Just two hours later, an 18-year-old man was rushed to hospital with non life threatening stab injuries after being knifed in Romford, East London.
There have so far been 16 murder probes launched in the capital this year after 2018’s bloodshed caused the highest London murder rate for a decade.
