Love Island’s Tom Walker seems just as divided as the rest of us over Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury’s blooming romance.
The newly dumped islander has seen the pair’s relationship begin to take shape over the past week, with Tommy and Molly getting closer as the show goes on.
However, while he admitted that he thinks they’re ‘legit’, Tom added that ‘seeds of doubt’ were planted after the Love Island tweet game suggested that she was only in it for the money.
Speaking after his villa exit, he said: ‘I didn’t think so [that Molly was using Tommy], but then off the back of the Twitter challenge the other day with the comments about Molly-Mae, there were a few seeds planted.
‘Whether she’s changed and fallen in love with Tommy, only they know. I didn’t see it initially for myself though.’
‘Tommy and Molly-Mae spend so much time together. They’re like the same person,’ he later added.

Tommy and Molly have become one of the strongest members of the villa (Picture: ITV)‘It’s rare you get Tommy by himself without Molly-Mae being there. They seem really legit.’
So…which way is it then?
Tom’s ability to forget what he just said proved to be his downfall in the villa, having not one but two nasty spats with Maura Higgins after she caught him talking about her to the boys.

Tom developed a habit of putting his foot in it (Picture: ITV)Their first argument will go down in history as one of the most historical slip-ups ever on Love Island, after he bragged about spending the night with Maura in the Hideaway to test ‘whether she was all mouth or not’.
Sex positive Maura heard it and immediately shut their entire night down, telling him to ‘go f*** himself’ and making him work for her attention back.
However, after choosing to couple up with her and sharing smooches in bed, he later told the guys he found her ‘cringey’ and ‘attention-seeking’.

Tom was eliminated from the villa after his numerous rows with Maura (Picture: ITV)Once the news got back to her, she confronted him about it last night, and ended up in tears over fears she’d been made a mug out of.
But despite all this, Tom was still surprised that he was given the boot alongside Arabella Chi last night.

‘I didn’t expect to go,’ he added. ‘We knew something was going to happen. Caroline hadn’t dropped in for a while. But I thought maybe some new guys were coming in.
‘I didn’t see a dumping like that coming. I thought it was between me and Danny when it came to it.’
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
