Love Island's Maura pledges to not talk about sex too much

Love Island’s Maura pledges to not talk about sex too much (Picture: ITV)Love Island’s Maura Higgins has pledged not to talk about sex – and part of us feels it won’t last long.
Yes, after moving on from Tommy Fury, the 28-year-old has her eyes set on new boy Tom, and she’s taking a whole different approach on her chat up lines.
After laying it on thick with the 20-year-old boxer, and crawling all over him while trying to plant a kiss on his cheek, it seems she is going to be more chilled with the newcomer.
Well, that’s what she says any way.
When chatting about the bombshell in the Beach Hut, the ring girl joked: ‘I have to find someone like Tommy has Molly and I wish them the best of luck, and now it’s my time to find someone else.
‘I’m not saying I don’t fancy Tommy anymore, because I do.’

She’s making moves on new boy Tom (Picture: ITV)She smirked: ‘Jesus who doesn’t? Look at the man. But Tom is here now, I’m getting to know him and it’s looking good.’
Talking about how she wants to go forward with the new boy, she laughed: ‘New approach is, try not to talk about sex too much, because maybe guys don’t like that.
‘But yeah, I am going to have a little flirt with him, because I have to.’
After her confession, Maura took Tom to one side, where he told her: ‘I would have picked you, you know.

She admitted she fancies Tom (Picture: ITV)‘My only reservation and I have to be honest is it seems so soon after the Tommy thing, you seemed so set and keen on Tommy.’
Explaining her actions in the past week, Maura reassured Tom that she was well and truly over her former crush.
‘I’m not going to lie, I was set,’ she admitted: ‘He was the only guy in here I had a connection with.’
‘I don’t regret it because I stuck by who I believed I had a connection with, in my gut I just knew.’

She smiled: ‘I’m not that type of girl who jump at every man saying I fancy you, I fancy you, I fancy you, because I don’t.’
Stopping her in her tracks, Tom asked: ‘Do you fancy me?’ to which Maura smiled: ‘Yeah.’
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
