Sherif Lanre left the show after breaking the rules (Picture: ITV/REX)Sherif Lanre’s absence from the Love Island villa was addressed by Anna Vakili in the most recent episode.
Anna and Sherif were coupled up before the 20-year-old agreed to leave the villa for breaking the rules.
Recently viewers had seen the pair warm to each other and even share a kiss.
But now Sherif has been axed Anna is single and could potentially be at risk of being dumped from the island.
Anton Danyluk told Anna that while she might not be his type on paper, he has definitely got her back in the villa – even though he finds Molly Mae more attractive.
Understandably annoyed, Anna reflected on her time with Sherif in the Beach Hut.
‘It’s weird being single because I started off this journey in a couple with Sherif, and I’m gonna miss him, but I do want to be someone’s type to a T.’
Maybe Anton should keep looking then?

The reality star added: ‘In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.
‘I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.’
The show attempted to address Sherif leaving in Tuesday’s episode with one line of narration from Iain Stirling, who said: ‘Earlier today, following conversations with producers Sherif left the villa, but for the other islanders it’s another day in paradise.’
It is not know which rule he is said to have broken, and the man himself didn’t address it either when he broke his silence on Instagram.
Taking to his Instagram story, the 20-year-old shared a message for fans, explaining he was ‘all good’.
‘Thank you to everyone including my friends and family for the support I’ve come back to,’ he began to his 284k followers.
‘I appreciate you all and hope I provided some good, positive moments during my time on Love Island, and for anyone wondering, I’m all good.’
In true Sherif style, he added: ‘#ItIsWhatItIs #BiggerThingsToCome.’
The most recent episode provided a great distraction from the Sherif drama by throwing in two new bombshells into the villa, which really got the girls’ backs up.
Love Island airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV2.
