LOVE Island 2019 is only in its second week, but so much has happened in the space of just a few days.
From shock exits to surprise arrivals; no one could say it’s been a dull week, as the drama continued from dawn to dusk.

Following the first major recoupling the cast of Love Island were treated to a meal in the villa’s garden to get to know each other.
Sherif Lanre learned more about Anna Vakili’s work as a pharmacist, while Joe Garratt compared Lucie Donlan to a chicken mayo sandwich during their riveting conversation.
The following day, Anton Danyluk pulled out all the stops to impress Molly-Mae Hague and his efforts did not go unnoticed.
In the Beeh Hut, Molly-Mae expressed: “The boy [Anton] can’t do enough for me and I can see it’s genuine.”
After a night of partying and playing games around the fire pit, Sherif and Anna snuck away for a bit of alone time.
On the terrace, the former semi-professional rugby player gushed about the raven-haired beauty, with him saying: “You have melted me a little bit”, before the twosome shared a kiss.
At the end of episode six, Yewande Biala received a text revealing she had been asked out on a date by newcomer Danny Williams.
Before the dust had even settled following Callum Macloed’s elimination in swooped Danny, 20, in episode seven.
The hunky male model made his arrival on Monday, June 10, 2019 whisking Yewande Biala and Amber Gill on a date.
He had an immediate connection with the 23-year-old scientist but his chat with Amber did not go as well, with the Geordie lass making it known to the other girls she would not be pursuing a romance with him.

However, the same could not be said for Molly-Mae, who ran around the villa telling everyone Danny was “her type” and “baby daddy material”.
The move displeased many of the female Islanders and left her partner, Tommy Fury, a little confused about where he stood with her.
Elsewhere, Michael Griffths revealed his interest in Amber but he played it cool and avoided coming across too strong.
Speaking about the firefighter in the Beech Hut, Amber opined: “Every other boy in the villa lays it on thick, it’s called Factor 50 thick, apart from Michael.
“He’s very chilled and low-key, which I think I’m more attracted to. He lays his cards on the table a little bit but also keeps them close to his chest.
“You’re not really sure what’s going on and I quite like that.”

On Tuesday, it was confirmed hours before the episode aired Sherif had been removed from the villa.
During the episode, Iain Stirling briefly addressed the chef’s departure, announcing the former contestant would not be returning to the villa.
Later, Danny revealed to Anton that he was interested in getting to know Molly-Mae, despite admitting to catching feels for Yewande.
During his chat with Anton, he explained: “As the night went on, I got a chance to speak to everybody. Molly is really nice and I think we get on. I think she is a bit confused with how she feels about Tommy.”
Also in the episode, Michael finally made his move on Amber, with the tattooed hunk leaning in for a kiss only to be pied off.
He eventually planted one on the Newcastle-native, who revealed to Anna and Yewande that she rebuffed his advances earlier because her breath smelt.

As the end of the day drew nearer, Tommy received a text mentioning how one fortunate couple would get the opportunity to spend the night alone in the Hideaway.
Without hesitation everyone agreed Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart would have the honour of being the first couple to sleep in the luxury quarter.
It was in the Hideaway that Curtis asked Amy if she would like to start seeing him exclusively, which she agreed to before filling the girls on the status of their relationship the next day.
But within hours Joe and Lucie announced they were also exclusive, following a paddle boarding date.
The news did not go down well with Amy, who felt like they had stolen her thunder and aired her frustrations to Curtis.
However, she did not get the reaction she was hoping for as the dancer accused her of being “an attention-seeker” on episode nine and she left the conversation in tears.
The next day, Yewande and Danny sat down for a heart-to-heart with the former admitting she was pleased he entered the villa.
“Since you’ve came in, maybe there has been a spring in my step,” she said.

“Obviously, when I went on a date with you I felt really comfortable and I just felt there was an instant connection. I’m happy that you’re here”.
Later in the day, it was revealed some of the male Islanders would be going on a date with newcomers Maura Higgins and Elma Pazar.
Anton, Tommy, Danny and Michael were chosen by one or both the women to either cook a starter, main or desert for their date with the newbies.
When Maura and Elma Pazar made their entrance, they were pleasantly surprised with the appearance of the boys.
Shortly after greeting the lads, they sat down for their first of three meals, with Tommy serving Maura with cheese on bread, while Danny dished Elma a tasty starter.
The following night in episode 10, Anton cooked Elma’s main, while Danny dined with Maura.
But the dinner experience was slightly ruined by the other girls, who stood on the terrace making snarky remarks.
Once Anton and Danny’s time was up with the ladies, Tommy and Michael took their place with dessert in hand.
