Tommy Fury opted for Lucie Dolan in tonight’s Love Island (Picture: ITV)Love Island’s Tommy Fury wreaked havoc in tonight’s episode as he chose to end Lucie Dolan and Joe Garratt’s short-lived romance.
As well as Curtis Pritchard the 20-year-old boxer, who arrived late into the villa during yesterday’s launch, was forced to pick a girl he wanted to couple up with and he opted for the surfer in seriously awkward scenes.
Explaining his reasons to the 2019 cast as they gathered around the fire pit, Tommy began: ‘This decision is far harder than I thought it would be.
‘I’ve had 24 hours to get to know the girls and I feel like anybody in my decision would just go with their gut instinct and that’s all I can do really. I’ve tried to be the most polite I can about it.’
Tommy continued: ‘I’d like to couple up with this girl because ever since I walked into this villa she made me feel welcome.
‘She’s absolutely gorgeous and everyday I’m excited to learn more and more about her. I don’t know quite what it is, but it’s my gut and that’s all I can go with at the moment. I’m speaking from the heart and this is who I’ve decided to go with.
‘The girl I’ve decided to couple up with is Lucie.’
