Who is in the Love Island 2019 cast?
Love Island 2019 kicked off with seven boys and five girls when it returned to our TV screens on Monday, June 3, 2019.
But in usual Love Island style, more gorgeous Islanders have headed to the villa to stir up drama and of course find love.
Here’s who is in the villa so far:
20 Arabaella Chi is the latest female islander to join the ITV2 showCredit: ITV
Arabella Chi – OUT
Arabella Chi is a 28-year-old model from London who has worked for endless fashion brands including Superdry and G Star.
She dated former Love Island contestant Charlie Frederick for a while and famously worked on blockbuster hits such as Justice League alongside Hollywood hunk Jason Momoa.
Arabella describes herself as energetic and fun, adding that her ideal man would need to possess similar qualities if a full-on relationship was to kick off.
She rates herself to be an 8 out of ten and hopes that whoever catches her eye will be fit, caring and has plenty of love to give.
20 Jordan is one of the latest lads to join the villa
Jordan is a 24-year-old model from Manchester who has modelled alongside David Beckham for the Adidas World Cup campaign.
The hunky Manc describes himself as having “good energy” and being “really bubbly.”
And anticipates that he’ll be “a bit of a joker” in the villa.
He also reckons he’ll win the ladies over with his jawline and laidback nature.
Jordan rates himself a “solid 9.8 out of ten. Not quite a ten, no one is perfect.”
20 Tom is one of the newest faces to join the villa
Tom Walker – OUT
Tom is a 29-year-old model from Leeds.
He describes himself as “fun and energetic” and a “people person.”
The Northern lad admits to being “opinionated” and enjoys a “good discussion.”
Tom reckons he’s “a solid eight” out of ten.
Adding: “I appreciate I’ve been blessed, I wouldn’t be modelling if I wasn’t.
“People compliment me on my jawline.”
Tom has his eye on “cannon” Maura though thinks she could be “too hot to handle.”
Elma has also caught his eye as “she’s got a look I tend to go for.”
He also has had his eye on Lucie but said she seems pretty “settled with Joe.”
20 Elma Pazar was a contestant on Love Island 2019Credit: Rex Features
Elma Pazar – OUT
The striking 26-year-old is an eyelash technician from Essex, who has done eyelashes for some of the stars of ITV2’s The Only Way Is Essex.
She was hoping to find a long-life partner in the villa, with her admitting: “Ideally, I need to be looking for my husband.”
Elma has jokingly compared her love life to Britney Spear’s hit song Toxic and likes a guy with a great personality.
Explaining her type on paper, she revealed her ideal man would be to “get Jack Fowler and Jack Fincham and merge them into one person”.
Unfortunately for Elma, her time in the Love Island villa was cut short when she was eliminated in episode 14.
She and Anton Danyluk faced the boot after their fellow Islanders voted them the least compatible couple alongside Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan.
It was then up to the public to decide which person from each pair would be saved from elimination.
As Elma and Joe received the fewest votes they were sent packing on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.
20 Maura Higgin, a model from Ireland, is a contestant on Love Island 2019Credit: Rex Features
The model is no stranger to the spotlight, having starred in a music video with One Direction’s Liam Payne.
Maura, who is also a grid girl from Ireland, says she has the credentials to make a great girlfriend.
“I would say I’m a really good girlfriend, I’m very honest and I’m caring,” she offered.
However, she confessed to also having some bad traits including talking over people, which she finds herself doing on a daily basis.
Sherif Lanre – KICKED OUT
Sherif is a 20-year-old chef and semi-professional rugby player from London.
He was one of the original islanders to enter the villa and was coupled up with Anna Vakili.
But on June 11, 2019 The Sun exclusively revealed how Sherif had been booted out of the villa after breaking strict rules.
He mutually agreed with bosses to leave the reality series after just nine days.
A Love Island spokesman said: “After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa.”
Sherif said: “In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.”
He has since spoken exclusively to The Sun on Sunday, revealing he was kicked off the show for telling a vile joke after accidentally kicking Molly-Mae Hague in the crotch.
“I did kick Molly-Mae in the groin area but it was an accident and she 100 per cent was not injured afterwards,” he said.
“She flinched and bent over to protect herself. Then she stood up and seemed fine and we started laughing about it.
“I turned to Tommy Fury and said, ‘That was a c*** punt.’”
He added: “I’ve never used the word before and don’t know where it came from. I think I’ve heard other people saying it and it just popped out.
“I know I have been stupid and let myself down but I was not being malicious.”
20 Love Island’s Danny Williams is a model from HullCredit: Rex Features
Danny Williams is a 21-year-old model from Hull, who quickly caught the attention of Yewande Biala and Molly-Mae Hague when he first arrived.
Before he became a full-time model, Danny worked in cocktail bars, which became his go-to place to find dates.
Since then he has worked with a number of international brands including GymShark, Moschino and even starred in a Christmas TV advert for Mr. Porter’s online campaign.
Danny has also covered a number of popular magazines, including Desnudo Italia and Attitude’s December 2018 issue with Little Mix stars Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards.
Given his long list of credentials and association with celebrities, we imagine the heartthrob will feel right at home in the villa surrounded by gorgeous islanders.
The six foot two chap is looking to find a woman, who “knows who she is”. He was initially coupled up with Yewande Biala but then in a tense recoupling, the model chose to couple up with new girl Arabella resulting in Yewande being sent home.
Meet Molly-Mae Hague who is coupled up with Tommy Fury
Molly-Mae was the first female contestant to enter the villa following the late arrival of Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury.
She made her entrance on episode four (June 6), sending the villa into meltdown when she announced she would be going on a date with Tommy – much to Lucie Donlan’s dismay.
Molly, 20, is a social media influencer, with more than 150,000 followers on Instagram – and notwithstanding her young age, she’s definitely doing something right to be travelling the world as much as she does.
From the enjoyment of being at Coachella in California to a brief trip out in Bali, it seems as if this blonde bombshell has it all figured out – at least as far as her career is concerned.
The Islander shared her first kiss with Tommy in episode 13 and previously caught the attention of Anton Danyluk and Danny.
20 AJ Pritchard’s brother CurtisCredit: ITV
Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard’s younger brother, Curtis Pritchard, was the first contestant to be confirmed before the full list was revealed.
Curtis signed up to the ITV2 show five months after he and 24-year-old AJ were battered by eight thugs in a Cheshire nightclub.
He says he’s lived a “sheltered life” because of his career as a dancer and his ex was his ballroom partner from the ages of 12 until 14.
The Dancing with the Stars pro has been going strong with Amy Hart since coupling up in week one.
The duo are “exclusively” seeing each other after agreeing it was too early to be boyfriend and girlfriend in episode eight.
20 Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy FuryCredit: ITV
Professional boxer Tyson Fury’s 20-year-old brother, Tommy Fury, is also hoping to find love in the Spanish villa on this year’s show.
Tommy – who is also a professional boxer like his sibling – recently split from his girlfriend, and has received “a lot” of female attention now he is single.
Calling himself “a loyal guy down to the roots”, he likes a “confident girl but someone who is a bit shy.”
Since coupling up with Molly-Mae, he told her he is only interested in pursuing a romance with her.
The pair shared their first kiss in episode 13 after Tommy choose Molly over Maura.
20 Amy Hart quit her job as an air hostess to take part in the showCredit: ITV
Amy is a 26-year-old air hostess from Sussex, who has admitted to never having a proper boyfriend.
She hasn’t specified when or where, but some time before entering the Love Island villa, she met One Direction’s Liam Payne while on a night out.
However, she says her weird crushes are David Walliams and Simon Cowell, saying: “You’d never go there obviously but there’s something about them.”
She and Dancing with the Stars’ Curtis Pritchard made their romance “exclusive” earlier on in the competition, with the former joking she is his “half-girlfriend”.
20 Firefighter Michael Griffiths thinks he has the whole packageCredit: ITV
Michael is a 27-year-old single male from Liverpool with a job that involves him saving lives.
Opening up about his career, he said: “I’m a hero! I’m a firefighter, who doesn’t want their own firefighter? Their own local hero.”
The Islander rates himself a ten out of ten, adding: “I would have said nine but I’m a hero so it bumps it up.”
20 Surfer Lucie Donlan is already a bit of a social media star in her own rightCredit: ITV
Lucie, 21, from Newquay, describes herself as different from the usual girls who go on the show, with her saying: “I’m more into sports as well as being glam.”
Her celebrity crush is Instagram star Jay Alvarrez, however she has spent time with famous faces Joey Essex and Love Island’s Charlie Frederick.
The surfer from Cornwall already has a strong following on Instagram and is used to walking around in a bikini all day.
20 Gym owner Anton Danyluk is all about staying in tip top shapeCredit: ITV
Anton is a gym owner from Scotland — and he’s pretty proud at the thought of being the first Scottish lad on the show.
He describes himself as funny, hard-working and motivated, however, he has a few bad traits too, including being moody and an over-thinker.
Citing Margot Robbie in The Wolf of Wall Street as his perfect girl, Anton would like to couple up with a blonde if possible.
Joe Garratt – OUT
20 Joe Garratt was hoping to find love in the villaCredit: ITV
Joe is a 22-year-old catering company owner from South East London.
If you think you may have seen the new Love Islander before, you probably have as he used to be a semi-professional rugby player.
Joe, who is an office delivery “sandwich man”, has only had one girlfriend who he knew from his local area in South East London.
The curly-haired hunk was booted off the show in episode 14, leaving his beloved Lucie Donlan alone and single in the villa.
He was sent packing after the public voted to save their favourite person in each couple put up for elimination by their peers.
Like Elma, Joe received the fewest votes and lost his place in the competition.
Yewande Biala – OUT
20 Scientist Yewande Biala was eliminated after Danny chose ArabellaCredit: ITV
Irish scientist Yewande describes herself as “easy to get along with, funny and caring”.
The 23-year-old Dublin girl has been cheated on “multiple times” but has never done it back, insisting: “I’m very loyal.”
She hates arrogance, loves “good banter” and doesn’t rule out swiping someone else’s guy.
After briefly finding in love in the villa with Danny, she was brutally dumped in week four when he chose Arabella over her.
Callum MacLeod – OUT
20 Callum Macleod was the first cast member to be booted off the showCredit: ITV
Callum is a 28-year-old aircraft engineer from South Wales, who was the first contestant this year to be booted off the show.
He is keen to settle down, explaining: “I’m 28 now so time is ticking. I don’t want to be left on the shelf.”
Although Callum says he prefers blondes, his celebrity crush is Michelle Keegan.
Callum was eliminated from the Love Island villa in the first week on Friday, June 7, 2019.
20 Beauty therapist Amber Gill is sure to be one of the most glam ladies in the villaCredit: ITV
Amber describes herself as someone with a big personality that gets on really well with others.
The Geordie beauty therapist reckons she’s a ten out of ten – but “not in a cocky way” and is currently coupled up with Michael Griffiths.
She knows former Islanders Adam Collard and Ellie Brown from going out in the Toon and says she would never use a dating app.
The 21-year-old has been cheated on “several times” but warns: “I’m not as naive as I was then.”

20 Anna Vakili is all ready to show off her curves and we do not blame herCredit: ITV
Anna is a 28-year-old pharmacist from London — and she doesn’t consider herself your average Islander.
Earlier this year, Anna found herself on the news in Iran.
Explaining just how it happened, she said the cameras started rolling “when my sister and I were away in Qatar with two Iranian footballers”.
The footballers in question have huge followings on social media, so the connection did wonders for her own personal Instagram account.
“Suddenly my followers went up by 20,000 and I started being tagged in fan pages!”
20 Caroline Flack is back as Love Island hostCredit: ITV
What has Caroline Flack said about Love Island 2019?
Via Instagram, Caroline Flack confirmed she would be returning for the fifth series this summer on Instagram, adding that she was yet to meet the new contenders.
Speaking ahead of the launch show, she said: “What’s really exciting about this week is that we start filming for Love Island 2019.
“And by the end of the week, I’m going to have potentially have seen the cast for this year, which is really exciting.
“And mad that’s it’s come around this quick! So I’ll let you know what happens. It’s going to be a long, hot summer and all that.”
What days in the week is Love Island on ITV2?
You’ll be able to get your fix of the show every night on ITV2 where the main programme, hilariously narrated by Iain Stirling, will give us the lowdown on all the goings-on in the villa – from couples cracking on to singletons getting mugged off.
Saturday night’s show differs from the rest of the week, as it is a round-up of all the best bits from the villa that week – and maybe some unseen footage.
If that’s not enough, you can also watch Caroline Flack’s spin off show Aftersun on Sunday nights at 10pm after the main show has aired, where she discusses the latest action with celebrity guests, as well as those eliminated from the villa.
