The Love Island 2018 WhatsApp group is no more (Picture: ITV)Love Island kicked off royally last night, with arguments sprouting from every corner of the villa.
And all the drama has made us look back on the series four cast of the ITV2 dating show – and wonder what Jack Fowler, Wes Nelson, Megan Barton Hanson and co. are up to now.
However, while ‘loyalty’ might have been the running theme with the 2018 gang, Rosie Williams revealed loyalty hasn’t extended to their WhatsApp group, confessing it is officially dead.
And we are in mourning.
In fact, not only is the chat not a thing anymore, everyone decided to leave it on the same night.
So. Much. Tea.
‘We don’t have a WhatsApp group anymore. We actually did and then they all went to Dani Dyer’s launch night…,’ the 27-year-old said.
Rosie Williams explained everyone has left their WhatsApp group (Picture: ITV)‘And one by one, on the same night, they all started leaving the group.
So I’m not sure what was discussed, or what agreement they made, but they all left, so I just decided that I’m gonna leave as well,’ she added to Digital Spy.
Well no one wants to be in a WhatsApp group by themselves…
While we’re not sure what exactly went down, or what Dani happened to be launching that day, we are a little gutted that the LI2K18 group has disappeared.
Love Island returned to screens last week, and has not been short of drama.
Sherif Lanre was booted off Love Island (Picture: ITV)Sherif Lanre was kicked off the show on Tuesday, for ‘breaking the rules’ – however it has yet to be revealed exactly what he did wrong.
Following the 20-year-old being booted out of the villa, Wes Nelson lifted the lid on the tough orders the cast members are forced to follow.
During an appearance on Capital FM’s breakfast show, he told listeners: ‘You can’t talk about previous islanders or any scenarios that have ever happened before in previous series.
‘They probably can’t say, “I’m loyal”, which Georgia would be absolutely buzzing about.’
So that’s why they haven’t been making loyal jokes about Tommy Fury…
When asked about why the islanders are constantly in swimwear, Wes admitted producers made sure they were wearing as little as possible.
‘It’s not a coincidence,’ he continued.
‘I used to try and go out in a hoodie and heavily clothed in the morning because sometimes it’s a bit chilly, but you have to take that off.
‘We like to be in the shade a bit of the day because it is roasting hot, but when you’re in the shade it’s actually quite cold so me and Josh [Denzel] used to run out in little hoodies and they were like, “Wes, take that off.”‘
Our minds are blown.
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
