Richarlison’s agent has revealed why he went to Jurgen Klopp’s house (Picture: Getty)Richarlison’s representative has rubbished rumours that the forward could be joining Liverpool by revealing the real reason he met up with Jurgen Klopp.
Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte claimed that agent Renato Velasco had gone to Klopp’s house to talk over what would have been one of the most controversial moves in recent memory.
The Everton attacker was quick to quash the speculation, with a Twitter post on Friday insisting he’s ‘happy’ at Goodison Park, and Velasco has lifted the lid on why he was with Liverpool boss Klopp.
Velasco explained that Marco Weisshaupt, the father of Freiburg youngster Noah Weisshaupt who he represents, is a close friend of Klopp.
‘My meeting with Klopp had nothing to do with Richarlison,’ Velasco told Sport Witness.
‘I am an agent of a player of Germany [Noah Weisshaupt], of Freiburg and Germany U20, where his father played with Klopp and they’re friends.

‘It has nothing to do with Richarlison, the people who made the link have added one thing to another.’
Richarlison became the second most expensive player in Everton’s history when he joined for a fee of £40million from Watford last summer.
He has since scored 13 goals in 33 games for the Toffees and become a regular in Tite’s Brazil squad.
