Firmino exited the game in the first half (Picture: Getty)Roberto Firmino seems set for a spell on the sidelines after leaving Old Trafford on crutches after Liverpool’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United.
The Brazilian forward limped off after half an hour of the game when he appeared to roll his ankle.
The injury seemed innocuous as did not occur during a tackle, but rather when Firmino was releasing the ball to a team-mate.

The stalemate at Old Trafford could turn out to be a major blow to the Reds’ title hopes after Liverpool missed the chance to go three points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
An injury to Firmino would only worsen the tension on Merseyside, with Manchester City managing to close a seven-point gap in the last two months.
Firmino is now a serious doubt for Liverpool’s game on Wednesday (Picture: Getty)Liverpool play Watford on Wednesday, which Firmino is now likely to miss, before an away trip to Everton next week.
With City breathing down their necks, Liverpool will want to bounce back straight away with a win, but Jurgen Klopp will be concerned after a lacklustre performance from his side against United.
The home side were crippled by three injuries in the first half as Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and substitute Jesse Lingard all going off with injuries.
Firmino’s replacement Sturridge did little to improve Liverpool’s form and the Reds managed just one shot on target during the entire 90 minutes.
