Gerrard’s mistake allowed Ba to burst through on goal and score for Chelsea, and the slip is widely considered as the moment Liverpool lost their chance to win their first Premier League.
Chelsea travel to Anfield again hoping to wreck their title chances, with Jurgen Klopp’s side holding a two-point advantage over closest rivals Manchester City.
But in recalling the events of that game in 2014, Ba claims he felt no sympathy for Gerrard or Liverpool.
‘I would say he (Jose Mourinho) put the reserve team out,’ Ba told the Sun.
‘A lot of the players that started that day were not in the starting eleven every week.

‘I didn’t feel sorry for [Gerrard],’ Ba continued. ‘I’m not a Steven Gerrard supporter. I’m not a Liverpool supporter.
‘I’m not a Man City supporter or happy that they won the league. It’s all part of the game.
‘It’s the same as Crystal Palace last year when they were safe and had nothing to play for, they went and played at Stoke and sent them down by winning. You go and do your job, you go to win.’
