Lidl is selling a sandpit with shade for £40 and it's perfect for summer

TRYING to keep your kids off their screens during summer months can be a real challenge, but Lidl is making it easier to get them outdoors.
Facebook page Money Saver Online has spotted a sandpit with a sun shade on sale at the retailer for £39.99 – and it’s perfect for summer.
The sandpits come with a shade to protect your little ones from sunshine and rain
Sadly, the product is no longer listed on Lidl’s website and the supermarket told the Sun it’s not available nationwide as it’s a local deal.
In other words, your best bet would be to give your nearest store a ring or pop down to see yourself if it has any stock.
Lidl has more than 700 branches across the UK. You can find your nearest one as well as contact details using its store locator.
The Facebook page told us they spotted the garden toy in a Lidl store in Thanet, Kent.

The “Playtive Junior Sandpit with Sun Shade” is made from solid wood and comes with plastic-coated corners so your offsprings can play safely.
The sun shade, which also functions as a lid, is height-adjustable and has high UV protection.
The pit also includes an “ice cream parlour” play corner with two holes for sand-cones and two plastic containers.
The sandpit comes in the size of 118cm x 118cm, and has a three-year warranty. They rolled out in Lidl stores in March, according to deal-sharing website hotukdeals.
If you miss out at the supermarket, the same products are currently on sale on eBay for a pricier £59.99.

It’s also brought back its £14 paddling pool in time for summer and it even has a drinks holder.
If you’re looking for activities for a rainy day, the supermarket is also selling a £15 slime factory so you can make slime, glitter and confetti at home.
