AMIR KHAN attempts to shock the world when he faces WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford in New York tonight.
Bolton’s 2004 Olympic silver medallist takes on the pound-for-pound star at the famous Madison Square Garden.
A win for Khan will catapult his name into the mix of boxing’s elite – while for Crawford a super-fight with IBF champion Errol Spence remains very much the focus.
Crawford is unbeaten in his 34 fights so far having reigned at lightweight and super-lightweight before becoming a three-division champion.
While Khan remains undefeated at welterweight with his last loss coming against middleweight king Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in 2016.
On the undercard electrifying lightweight Teofimo Lopez, renowned for his post-fight celebrations, faces Edis Tatil.
Unbeaten Lopez targets WBA and WBO lightweight king Vasyl Lomachenko, who last week KO’d Brit Anthony Crolla is crushing fashion.
Also on the bill is 2016 Olympic silver medallist Shakur Stevenson who faces featherweight Christopher Diaz.
Undefeated in 10 fights Stevenson has already talked up the possibility of fighting IBF champion Josh Warrington – as well as Brit Carl Frampton.
