A DUCK born with a lame left leg is now waddling around thanks to a specially tailored wheelchair.
Merlin was adopted by a sanctuary which rescues injured animals in Annandale, New Jersey, US.

Engineers from Walkin’ Pets then modified a chair normally used for disabled cats and dogs.
Merlin took his first steps this month. Walking Pets’ Mikayla Feehan said: “It was amazing.”
Mrs Feehan explained: “We have never made one for a duck so one of our engineers adjusted a mini quad wheelchair just for him.

“The wheelchair can go into water we would just recommend avoiding salt water to keep the wheelchair in tip top shape.
“To see Merlin taking his first steps in that wheelchair really warmed my heart.”
Since its beginning, the company has produced more than 50,000 wheelchairs for disabled pets all over the world.
