KIM Kardashian says husband Kanye West won’t take medication for his bipolar diagnosis – but says she knows how to handle his “episodes”.
The reality TV star opened up about her husband’s mental health illness in an interview with Vogue.

Despite Kanye claiming to President Donald Trump that he had been misdiagnosed and was actually just suffering from sleep deprivation, Kim says they now accept he has bipolar.
“I think we’re in a pretty good place with it now,” said Kim.
“It is an emotional process, for sure. Right now everything is really calm. But we can definitely feel episodes coming, and we know how to handle them.
“For him, being on medication is not really an option, because it just changes who he is.

“Travelling a lot does set it off, so he doesn’t travel as much as he used to.”
The mum-of-three has often suffered abuse from trolls who attack her for her husband’s opinions online.
Kim says she has done everything she can to “calm the situation” if Kanye has said something she thinks is wrong while in the middle of a bipolar episode.
But she said never wants to speak for him – and that it isn’t her fault if people don’t agree with what he says.
Kanye was hospitalised following a “psychiatric emergency” in 2016.

He kept quiet about the reasoning, but cancelled the rest of his Saint Pablo tour.
Last year he finally admitted he had been diagnosed with bipolar.
The dramatic moment he was hospitalised was aired on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kim was seen crying on the phone as she was told the devastating news.
The couple started dating in April 2012 and have gone on to have three kids together.
They’re now expecting a fourth child via surrogate.
The little boy is thought to be arriving in “very early May”.
