Kerry Katona blasts Ant McPartlin for acting like 'nothing happened' as he made TV return after drink-drive crash

KERRY Katona has slammed Ant McPartlin for acting as though “nothing happened” when he made his TV return following his drink-drive crash last March.
The 38-year-old star has said that she is more heavily criticised than celebrity men because she is a woman and a single mum.

Speaking to The Mirror, Kerry ranted about the differing reactions they have received over their addiction issues.
The mother-of-five said: “I’ve had to work my a*** off to save my career yet with Ant, eight months later he’s back winning awards as if nothing has happened.
“He was driving a car p***** up and could have killed a child and he had his issues with drink and drugs.
“When I was on This Morning 10 years ago slurring my words due to bipolar medication, I’m still today crawling my way back up that ladder again.”

Ant, 43, had a stint in rehab last year after he crashed his car while over the limit.
The TV favourite got a 20-month driving ban and took a step back from the spotlight so that he could work on his drink and drug addictions.
Earlier this year, fans were left stunned when Ant received the Best TV Presenter National Television Award alongside his usual co-host Declan Donnelly, despite his lengthy break from work.
