JUSSIE Smollett told his 1.4million Twitter followers that “frauds are everywhere” just two days before allegedly staging a “racist” attack in a bid to boost his career.
The disgraced Empire actor also warned fans not to “look for fame” and joked about “whooping your own ass” in tweets that have since been branded “ironic”.

He tweeted about ‘frauds’ being everywhere on January 27, just two days before his alleged hoax
Smollett could face three years in jail after he was sensationally charged with staging an elaborate street assault so he could play the victim in the media.
Chicago police slammed the American TV star for “taking advantage of the pain and anger of racism” for self promotion.
Now it has emerged just two days before the alleged hoax on January 29, Smollett tweeted warning “frauds are everywhere y’all”.
The tweet went on to advise followers to stay away from drugs, which may also appear hypocritical in light of reports Smollett told cops he had a drug problem as he was arrested.
It added: “Salt, cocaine and anthrax can all appear to be sugar…(the “refined” kind of course) just be careful out here fam.”
He was obviously already laying the foundation for all this.Twitter user replying to Smollett’s tweet
Followers were quick to blast the actor, branding him “hilariously stupid” for writing the tweet so close to the ‘hoax’.
One user observed he posted the tweet around the time he was allegedly planning the fake “attack on himself”.
“That makes it even more hilarious stupid,” the user said. “He was obviously already laying the foundation for all this.
“Either that, or guilt was eating him up and he hadn’t even played the part yet.”
Another replied saying it “sounds like you could take your own advice”, while a different user joked: “He was giving us fair warning!”.

In other tweets posted in the weeks leading up the allegedly fake attack, he asked fans: “Y’all ever wake up with bruises in random places like you’ve been whoopin your own ass in your sleep?”
Many quipped his comments had “not aged well” since police accused him of paying others to stage his own “whoopin”.
Another joked: “Is this a confession???”
Yet more tweets from the humiliated actor preach to followers telling them: “Don’t look for fame. That shit ain’t real.”
“Ego is Enemy. Check that,” another tweet reads.
Police chief Eddie Johnson denounced Smollett as a fraud, saying he faked the whole thing to boost his profile and pay packet.
He said: “Smollett attempted to gain attention by sending a false letter that relied on racial, homophobic and political language.
“When that didn’t work, Smollett paid $3,500 to stage this attack.
“This morning not only do I come to you as the superintendent of Chicago police department, but also as a black man who has spent his whole life living in the city.
